Meet Our Team

RLC is a collective of people who identify as Black, white, female, queer, non-binary, and disabled. Our team holds more than 75 years of professional experience in education, politics, healthcare, social work, statistics, counseling, and grassroots counseling. We are dedicated, passionate, and unapologetically skillful. Our diverse skill sets uniquely positions us to meet the breadth and depth of client needs.

S.Rae Peoples, Founder

S.Rae (she/her) has approximately 30 years of experience in the education, political, and nonprofit sectors, and is currently serving as the Associate Director of Diversity & Inclusion Education at Tufts University. She approaches her work in DEI with the belief that mindfulness practices like yoga and meditation are a critical piece of creating safe and generative work and community spaces. She is both a certified yoga and mindfulness instructor.

Anna is the co-creator of the Rooting in and Raising Up workshop series at Red Lotus Consulting. She is a white organizer, educator, writer and longtime public-policy advocate on issues of racial, gender, and economic justice.

A white immigrant from Germany, Lo is a trained educator and clinical social worker. She educates white-bodied folks in developing racial literacy and anti-racist identities and has a focus on decolonizing the mental health field, and supporting young queer folks as well white people through challenges around white guilt and internalized racism they’d like to unlearn.
