Consulting Service: Transformation from the Margins Out
Transformation from the Margins Out is a short-term consulting service that allows for an internal DEI assessment for an organization. Anchored in qualitative research --- with intentional focus placed on voices most impacted by the absence inclusion and equity an organization, 70 – 80 hours are dedicated to identifying key insights, lessons, and recommendations that emerge from internal conversations, and articulating findings in a written report .
The Path holds space for those who are grappling with a gut wrenching feeling that race-based aggressions directed towards impacted communities is an attack to their own community and humanity. Participants are invited into a space where they are guided on a path of personal reflection and action.
The workshop serves as an invitation for participants to embrace the truth of our mutual liberation by developing their own capacities to have more meaningful and truthful conversations about race and racism first with themselves- and from there, with the children and young people in their lives.
Queering the Art of Leadership creates a space of truthful, exploratory, and interactive conversations to emerge. The purpose of the workshop is to invoke a collaborative and creative process of redefining and reshaping how we frame and define leadership in such a manner that it truly becomes queer: meaning our individual and collective art of leadership becomes that which does not reproduce the status quo.
